I have a 3 year old son and he is acting out and hitting me. It seems to be worst when we go to the grocery store or other public places. What is a good way to curtail this behavior besides physical restraint of him? HELP!

Hello! Don't worry on this occasion. It for a child on age. He will outgrow. Such was also for us: lay down on an asphalt, stamped feet, yelled, required. But after everything passed the floor of year. A child became normal. Simply ignore him such mood and all. Not sharpen attention thereon.

For all children it is called a transition period. It runs from two years to three. During this period the child is very sensitive and vulnerable. Do not ignore it and do not throw. This period passes and you are back with their baby smiles.
